And for $16.8 mil a year I didn't see them change a damn thing on their uniforms except put a little swoosh on the right shoulder. While here at RU for that $18.52 a year we got to be the Power Rangers. Why should we bow down to them, give us traditional uniforms and they can keep the battle scars and crappy salmon pajamas. We don't play in the XFL.
We will get a MUCH better deal from Nike this time around WITHOUT looking like Power Rangers.
Let's hope so Nuts. As mentioned I liked every version beside the home red on red. All helmets were fine by me. Would not mind multiple units with the throwbacks included just get rid of current red jerseys.
Interesting that it's cash AND product. Helps explain all of the different alternate uniforms, color combinations, etc. Making up numbers, this will allow Nike to produce a uniform for $15 and say that the worth is $600. A multi-million deal is suddenly much cheaper for them to deliver.
Aside from the red on red pajamas, I think our unis are light years better than our old unis.
RU's away uni with the white helmet blows away most others.
LOL EDITED Greg and Tim did, correct, doesn't make the red ones any less awful. Have you seen a single picture of ASH with those uniforms? Or with those helmets? I haven't. Got to be a reason for that wouldn't you think?

I like the all red ones. Expect new unis though. Unless you are at a school that never changes uniforms, which is very few, a new coach means new uniforms.
Man Pernetti had his hands on some truly awful decisions, from head coaches to that abortion of a redesign for the RAC and now the power ranger uniforms. I got to tell you I was one of those who was sad to see him go. But as time goes on he may just go down as the next to worst AD in RU history. But nobody is going to beat out dear old Fred for that title.
I think the unis were much more Greg, than Tim, to be honest. Tim's a great guy, and I've known him for a long time, but sometimes we do things for what we think our the right reasons, at the time, and I think that's where Tim was while A.D.
