This week 8 SEC teams appear in the AP Top 25. I can't quibble with Bama, TAM, GA, Tenn, and Ark being in there, but Georgia (2 pt winner over Nicholls and 1 pt winner over Mizzou) at 12 (that close win over Mizzouu actually moved them up from 16) and Tenn at 14 are just way too high. LSU should be below wherever Iowa is yet they moved up from 20 to 18 by virtue of their 3 pt win over Miss. St and Florida and Ole Miss at 1-2 (the beat down by FSU should disqualify them) don't belong. Iowa dropped completely out of sight with its 1 loss. San Diego State should be ranked higher than Texas (SDS beat Cal, Cal beat Tx). I would put Cal (beat Tx), Oregon ( close road loss to #20 Nebraska) and UCLA (OT loss to #10 A&M) over Ole Miss. and LSU.
