ASH Needs to Get of his A$$ and get us some RECRUITS!

We have essentially lost or going to lose every major recruit in this class.

No more sugar coating about players not fitting his new offense.

We need talent any which way we can get.

Time to pull out all the bells and whistles.
Someone looks very foolish right now.
Another premature ejack post. And this wasn't even game related!

Relax..we just beat out Temple for a recruit and have extended an offer to a CT commit. Coach Ash is heating up.
I see the hating continues atleast some of you are consistent...by the way, you can thank Flood for the status of the program right now. I have a feeling Ash will do far more in 4 years than Flood ever did in 4 years.

Flood burned down the house and some are whining like a baby with a full diaper because Ash hasn't rebuilt it in 2 weeks. Seriously, if you want to be mad about the state of the program that's fine but you're taking shots at the wrong guy.

Sure you want to keep what you can, Russo is a real hit.
But the price of a new coach includes being willing to lose all current recruits,
I thought most here were ok with that bargain. I was/am.
Expecting to bring in a new guy, keep the current roster, all recruits and existing staff is just nuts. No one is going to come in and draw up a few razzle dazzle plays and tell the DBs to turn around is going to make a difference.
Let the man work, if you need immediate gratification you ought to find another way to spend your time on the internet. If you want a sure thing, well, I don't know what to tell you.

You must have me confused with someone else. I wanted Flood gone as much as the next guy. I'm also not a CA "hater" although I believe The Tie would have been the better choice.
I understand Golden was your preference but only one guy can be HC and Ash beat him out. Your guy didn't get the job, that doesn't mean you have to continually dump on Ash. Who knows what would've happened if Golden was hired but, I for one, would be giving him the same positive benefit of the doubt that I'm giving Ash now. It's your choice but I think you should do the same.

The fanbase needs something to be energized.
Clock starts tomorrow

The fan base is not Coach Ash's top priority right now.The top priority is changing the culture of the football program, not getting VERBAL commitments from 17-18 year old boys who may or may not pan out at the college level just to appease some grown-ups on a message board. Coach has already said he's not going to offer scholarships to kids who can't play here just to fill up a class. I t Face it, 2016 recruiting is not going to be all that exciting. Start focusing on 2017 if you get the itch.

OMG - we still have Golden lovers out there reaming on Ash.
SMH

Folks on here like to argue against straw men I see : "CA hater", "MY boy Food", "Golden lover", etc. This is like recruiting or drafting in that we won't know if CA was the best choice for two, maybe three years down the road. If by that time the Tie is tearing it up at GT, Wake Forest or someplace like that and Ash is struggling to get to a bowl, I won't be shy about reminding you who my first at choice was.

And if Ash has put us on solid footing, and we are going to Bowl games, you will remind us you were wrong?

He turned out just fine. Left RU and joined the 4th Infantry, and did at least two tours in Iraq. Volunteering to serve one's country > college football.
i remembered that.....i never went to RU and joined the Marines in 69 and never regretted it..but i still remember a few comments by Berkely saying Greg Schiano is ''way out there''...he might have been but he had vision..

Then sell me your tix at half price. Are you being abused by your wife at home too? Gambling problem? Don't go negative yet, people.

So basically you are just admitting that the reason you are on this board is to just tell everyone "I told you so" several years down the line. Me thinks someone needs to step away.

PS...... it would be helpful if your boy Golden had a job before you start crowing.

PPS.....if RU does well under Ash do we get to mercilessly bash since you did not want him here?

Hell no, no freaking retread that got fired cause he couldn't win WITH stacked recruiting classes. How do u think he would have done with recruiting classes not ranked anywhere as high as he had in Miami
