So, with the upheaval of the last couple of days the coaching landscape has changed. With big openings there will be unexpected hires and movement which likely means there will be more guys available than maybe what was previously thought. It could get VERY interesting in December. So this what we have so far in terms of actual openings and others that could potentially open up:

Already Open:
USC - this will be a big name, Pat Haden's job is on the line if he has another hiring misstep
South Carolina - first name I saw was Kirby Smart. Also, D'Antonio is an alum so they'll definitely give him a call (don't think he takes that job)
Maryland - like i said earlier, from an article in Maryland paper, they'll go with the anti-Edsall
Illinois - Cubit has done well, but I think their first call is Fleck to try and better recruit

Potential P5 Openings:
Miami - I think his buyout is big, but just don't see The U keeps a guy around who is getting 6 and 7 wins each year
Virgina - Mike London is done. The buyout is much lower now.
Virginia Tech - Does Beamer go the way of Spurrier and walk away after another so-so year?
Syracuse - not likely to make a bowl and just lost to lowly USF, time to find a replacement
Iowa St - will another losing season prompt them to pay the buyout and move on from Rhoads?
Purdue - with a likely 1 win season does Hazell get one more year?

I left off the more outlandish opening that crazy fans are clamoring about - Strong will get another year at Texas (especially after beating Oklahoma), Butch is going nowhere at TN, Georgia is not firing Richt and his 10-2 records, Helfrich was in National Championship last year (his coordinators on the other hand have some questions to answer)

Guesses as of now to who I think are realistic candidates.

USC - Kyle Whittingham, Tom Herman, NFL assistant
USCe - Kirby Smart, Justin Fuente, Brent Venables, Mark Hudspeth
Illinois - PJ Fleck, Matt Campbell, Rod Carey, Dino Babers
Maryland - Tom Herman, can't think of others for this one that are logical candidates, just saw the other thread and I could see Mullen here too if UA wants to pay up.
