Baseball beats St. Peter's 12-3.

Our baseball team is back to .500 at 26-26 after defeating St. Peter's today 12-3 in a game that was stopped after the top of the 5th inning because of the rain. We finish our season with 3 home games against Northwestern on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. We can still qualify for the BIG 10 tournament but we must sweep NW and 3 other teams must lose three games. This is not impossible but is almost impossible.

Looks like to me we are already eliminated as Penn St plays 3 home games vs Iowa, both ahead of RU.

Listen, there was never a doubt in my mind that this year's team would be better than last year's, however, we REALLY dug our own grave this year (I called us "sneaking" into the B1G's). Could easily have 6-8 more wins, total, 3-4 more in conference, and still aren't going to make up 2 RO's that were easy W's. Shame, however, there's hope!
