As per the T Hunt click-bait article, there will be a bunch of 2017 commits and recruits coming to the game on Saturday, in addition to dozens of 2018 recruits. Up to 100 recruits will possibly be attending the game.

Don't think recruits will be impressed with the student section boycotting the game though... very bush league. Atmosphere this season has been crap. Would have thought it would be better with a new widely hyped up coach.

Great, recruits will witness poor attendance and people leaving early during a blowout conference loss.

Well you are wrong and I don't appreciate you attacking first and asking questions later. Just because I'm new around here doesn't make me a better or worse fan than you. I bleed scarlet but am very concerned about the direction of the program and the dwindling interest in RU football by the public.

Plus we have only played Howard and New Mexico so far. Casuals don't care about those schools.
We are not Nebraska who can sell out a game against the Little Sisters of the Poor.
Or one of the elite programs that have over 90,000 show up for a spring game.
You know, most of us who are showing up can't do a whole lot about who else shows up, or if the student section boycotts the game and so forth. It's gonna be what it's gonna be and whining about it won't make it better (although I guess it makes some feel better).
What we can do is show up early enough to welcome the team on the field. We can be fanatical about cheering our team on and making as much noise as possible when our D has a third down.
And no matter how bad anybody plays or coaches, we can restrain ourselves from booing. Because that is a choice we do have and if we choose incorrectly, you can bet every recruit will notice and have a very negative view of it.

I have seen the student population at RU. .Many are studying during the game. Seriously. Crazy stuff right? Times have changed..:sunglasses:

Perhaps we should not invite recruits. Do they have to sign an NDA? They will get to see a lot that can be used against us if they end up going to other BIG schools.

Then promote it, market a great attitude, and keep all of your negative thoughts for those that don't matter!
