Was just flipping through the channels, and, who do I see? Linda Miles! On top of that she is one of the refs doing the Seton Hall/Butler BE game on now on FS2. She was standing next to Dee Kantner. Dee is probably reffing the game to make sure Linda doesn't call 100 fouls against SHU.
After our game last night I swear I thought about what our team needed, and I thought Linda and her moxie amongst a few other players would be perfect! Not sure if CVS would agree. [jumpingsmile]

I agree, I was thinking the same thing .Just couldn't remember her last name .We definitely lack that toughness. Chelsea had that plus tons of hustle. Miss those players.

Linda has done games for the BE, American, MAC, Horizon, MEAC, Missouri Valley, CUSA and ACC conferences this season. A fair number of assignments are closer, rather than further, from Cincinnati. So far as I know, a number of the conferences where she works have their referees scheduled by Patty Broderick - as some may remember, her daughter Jamie played for Rutgers and is also a ref, and works the various mid-west conferences Linda works, and also the Summit League and Ohio Valley.

Very cool ScarlettK80. I remember seeing Linda post RU, in I believe a wrestling celebrity type contest on TV. My old brain can't remember exactly what it was.

She won WWE's "Tough Enough" reality show in 2002. Google "Shaniqua".
Linda has been pursuing officiating for awhile now, working her way up. I'm happy to see that she's advanced to D1 games.
