Bleacher Report - NY Giants

If you are both an RU and NY Giants fan like I am, this was the weekend from hell. I have made a point today to stay away from all sharp objects.

I don't know how reputable this report is but Bleacher Report just reported that the Giants coaching staff instructed Rashad Jennings NOT to score. If Jennings scores, the Giants go up by 10 with less than 2 minutes to go. I don't know what is worse a) Instructing Jennings not to score; b) Calling a pass play; C) Coughlin not overruling the OC); or Eli not taking the sack.

When we left the stadium Saturday looking at a 3-hour drive through a monsoon I couldn't imagine that Sunday would be worse than Saturday..........but it was.

This was one tough weekend to be a NY sports fan.

yeah...who thought the Yankees would be the high point of my weekend.
If you need me I will be watching FlightAware to ensure Henrik Lundqvist's plane lands in one piece for camp.

The Giants and Rutgers have much in common namely no pass rush which led to both teams losing in gut wrenching games.
