The Build Fund Captains had a meeting at Rutgers last night and we were given some updates
Next Tuesday, November 29th is RU Giving Day and giving to the Build Fund will be one of the options for donations. Last year Athletics raised the most money ($100,000) but was second in number of donors. They want to be first in both categories this year.
The website for Giving Day will go live at 12am on 11/29 and be live for 24 hours:

- $66.8M donated so far. That included the $25M from Lesniak and $10M from RWJ-Barnabas
- approximately 1700 private donors have given $41.8M
- 100 gifts of $25,000.... 40 of which were first time donors to Rutgers
- almost $2.5M in verbal commitments...just waiting on checks
- The 30 captains have brought in 219 new donors and $210,000 in gifts
- The Build Fund will have a new Amplo website where each of the captains will have their own page so you can see who the captains are and donate directly to the team of your choice.
