If he is innocent then yes he comes back. Winston played the whole season last year.
While tailgating at Penn State on Saturday a young guy came up to us and asked what we thought of Caroo. He went on to say that he was Caroo's "cousin" though later explained he was a cousin to the family that Caroo lived with during high school. He said he had seen the video and that Caroo did nothing. I wasn't sure what to make of the guy but now maybe think he was telling the truth.

This whole notion of a video raises more questions than it answers.
First, people here are claiming that they've had knowledge of said video for over a week. Yet, Carroo's lawyer is just talking about it now? Why didn't he mention it a week ago in his memo to the court entering the "not guilty" plea?
If not one, but two such videos exist than the eyewitness evidence would have to be compelling with regard to the events as claimed re: the videos, right? So then why was he charged in the first place?
And why were his wife, girlfriend and girlfriend's father charged with assault but not the Fall Guy, who is claiming that HE was the one who "shoved" the alleged victim, and not Carroo?
And why didn't said Fall Guy offer this information to the cops at the time of the event, when they were handcuffing his friend and leading him away?
And finally, why is this circus even a circus in the first place? This is a simple assault charge. There was no grand jury involvement, it's not an indictable offense. Why, if the alleged video(s) exist, is Carroo's attorney treating it like evidence in the Lindbergh kidnapping? The appropriate thing to do would be to go to the prosecutor, show him the video and say, "So... ya know... can ya drop the charges against my client, now?"

My point is that at the time of the incident there was a sequence of events that led him to being arrested and charged based on eyewitness accounts. Now, all of a sudden, there's video and eyewitness accounts that contradict the original claims and suddenly this is the Trial of the Century?

NASA we have a problem"...In the videos posted I don't see Caroo but I see the victim and Miss Vega in a Diva match... the prosecutor is still embarrassed about the Sayreville fiasco which turned out not as expected.

Flood needs more than Caroo back to save his job imo. As for the PR, I think many people have dealt with psycho girlfriends or ex-girlfriends in their life or know someone that has. My old college roommate had a psycho stalker that he never even went with, yet it didn't stop her brand of craziness.
I think the PR angle of "honest guy being framed" could work here if he's found innocent. (Sometimes women like this have other cases in their past, I wonder if they'll find anything like that)

The video release looks to me like a PR move. Headlines now read "video release show Caroo innocent: says lawyer".

I saw the video. It is really short and fast pace but what is clear is that he 100% did not pick anyone up and slam them down. He also doesn't appears to have done anything other than run in and grab his girlfriend and take her away from the fight.
Lots of seemingly smart people who weren't there are digging in on both sides of this issue.

If the charges are dropped and Rutgers still does not allow him back because of a PR nightmare, then so much for the whole FAMILY concept that we are selling recruits and their families. Never mind the law suit that carroo could file against the university.

I can't see him being back this week regardless of what these videos do/don't show - feels like that would be too quick for the way things usually happen. For MSU? Possibly.

Those video are completely useless. Where is the rest of the video? I don't think those are evidence either way. Why hasn't Shane turned himself in to be charged for simple assault if it was him? Why did he not tell the police that night it was him. Is he only coming forward now because he has a deal with Carroo?
If Carroo is cleared and is reinstated back onto the team then most likely Flood will not be fired. As a matter of fact if this "victim" is lying like a rug an entire new investigation may start. Was she paid to take out Carroo prior to the Penn State game? Why did she hit the GF with her purse?
What they released is useless because it didn't show anyone get slammed or fall down. There is probably more video they didn't release because of the investigation.

Flood's job is not on the line because of what Carroo did or didn't do. Floods job is on the line for what he did and how poorly the team is coached and playing. The rest of this crap is just a sideshow.
That why I think is their is surveillance video it could be crucial. That video should show the incident from beginning to end. Not when someone chose to start and stop filming.
