I believe this.Somebody (Joe from N Brunswick?) called in and said the DJ music during play stoppages was so loud people left, and also complained the Alma Mater played Before the game was not played.
I will paraphrase Ash- he said these decisions were above his pay grade, he wasn't aware of them, but understands the concerns and will talk to someone involved in those decisions about the callers comments.
How was the hang time on the punt by Ash? :rolleyes:Somebody asked about the Yankee stadium game. Ash said it was a decision made before he and Hobbs got there.
Coach said he wants a great in game experience. Lots of folks are listening. Ash did say he was going to bring it up to the folks that can do something about it. BTW, it wasn't me. :grimace:What the hell goes through somebody's brain to call into a radio show asking the damn football coach to turn the scoreboard volume down?

Agree. Sound was better. Where they have to be a little better is when we are on offense, to stop with the pipe in crap in between plays. I remember back in 2006 that when we were on offense, the ribbon signs and scoreboard used to say "quiet" in between plays.I'm willing to bet the same weenies who post on this board, complaining about the volume, were the same people who called into the show, and Ash was just being congenial. I actually thought Saturday, for the first time in a very long time, the volume was absolutely perfect The entire length of the game. Will people forget, sometimes, is the wind has a major effect in that stadium on the found inside that stadium. Granted, it's not nearly as bad as it used to be, before the expansion. Obviously there was no wind on Saturday.

I believe they were there. If not 2006, was it 2007 or 2008?Th

Because it's a tradition that we have come to enjoy? Just throwing it out there.I also don't understand the complaining about the alma mater. Yes, we are accustomed to having a play both prior to and following each game, I get it. That being said, around the nation, the alma mater itself is typically just played at the end of the game. Even the service academies only play it at the end of the game if I recall correctly
They came after the stadium expansion
Then my memory must be from the 2008 Louisville game. Thanks for clarifying my bad memory. The ribbon boards were installed for the 2008 season.
Show is pretty cool in person. I was looking around the room and definitely recognized some of the faces from the twitter world.
