The NHL is still a thing?
Huh. Who knew...
Apparently there was some Ice Boxing last night.

It's actually in the same state.LOL at anyone comparing NY/North Jersey fans to Philly. So jersey fans. Please its not even in the same stratosphere.
Citizens Bank Park is the tamest park I've ever been to, and even the Eagles games bear no resemblance to what they were when they played at the Vet. Any stale anecdotes about Eagles games date to before the Linc.

In fact, many of us went to school together and currently sit in the stands together.
So if you want to take a dig at Philly fans, you're also insulting I'd imagine 1/3 to 1/2 of our own Rutgers fanbase.
Don't ever see Ranger (1), Giant (4), or Yankee (5) fans, turning the streets into chaos when they have won titles the past 30 years, as has been the case in Philly and many other U.S. cities (I grew up going to games in both cities, living in Hamilton, so I'll abstain from the conversation OTHER THAN this comment).
Philly doesn't win titles so there.
(Yeah I know the Phils actually won twice in the last 40 years but I don't remember any problems)

It is no coincidence that the Flyers, Eagles, and TTFP have the reputation they do.
That whole state is so backwards. The only downside of NJ is bordering PA.
Comparing "F Navy" or mean banners to what goes on that side of the Delaware is total insanity. No one at our stadium gets assaulted, and assaults at NY/NJ venues are a fraction of what they are over there.
I have to been to a Raiders game too, I would take that over Philly.
Because Philly is the only city that riots after a win? I think you should come up with something a little better.
Also I would bet over 2/3rds of the residents of NYC aren't even from the area or consider themselves fans of NY teams so it's a completely different situation.
I clearly stated "MANY OTHER U.S. CITIES...."
"2/3rds"?? Yeah, uhm, wrong my friend.
I made the big mistake of taking my wife to a Devils/Flyers playoff game at the Prudential Center a few years ago and not springing for more expensive seats. I'm a Devils fan, but was horrified and ashamed of the stupidity of the Devils fan next to me, taking personal offense to the Flyers fan sitting behind us. The Flyers fan was a scary looking dude, but reasonably tolerant of the moron next to us.Philly fans get a bad rap, but Philly, NJ, & NYC fanbases are much more alike than different.
Anyone suggesting otherwise hasn't gotten out enough.

It's 2016. We have the internet. If anyone thinks ignorant / violent / childish / racist / drunk / immature fan behavior doesn't happen everywhere, they have their head in the ground.

My wife, being from Iowa and to only hockey games in Chicago and Minnesota (where crowds are significantly less vulgar) was frightened much of the game (for good reason).

I hope you realize how many Philly fans are actually from South Jersey. Go to a game and you'll see how many NJ plates are in the lots. So it can't just be PA.
Philadelphia has a horrible reputation across the country. It has been well earned.
Check out footage of the Wing Bowl. It encapsulates Philly pretty well.

Nobody is saying shit doesn't happen in other cities (although, as I've already stated, there isn't rioting in NYC when one of its teams win a title...) or at other stadiums.
Sorry to break the news to you, but when you check someone from behind, you get a penalty. It is called "checking from behind."By the way I don't think they'll be any suspension on that it has it was clean
How was this person racially profiled? My best friend (who's Asian) was wearing a bandana around his face and said he was racially profiled by security at that Flyers game last night. I wonder if that's indicative of the atmosphere there. (He kept his bracelet, though.)

Why is a wearing a bandana on his face in public? I'd be suspicious too
If you saw a "big, tough dude" -- white, black, brown, orange, purple, green or otherwise -- wearing a yellow bandana on their face to a Rutgers game, wouldn't you want security to at least have a conversation with that individual..?That's his style. (he's also colorblind, he thought the bandana was orange but it was really yellow) Security asked him what his problem was and that the FBI could get involved. I guess they mistook him for a gang member. He's a big, tough dude, but would never join a gang.
