Sat with Lloyd and Carl Kirschner at a basketball game once about 15 years or so ago. Dick's a bit older than I am, but all three of us are basically the same era, and long time east coast bball fanatics, so it was a great evening. What a terrific guy! Wishing him all the best in retirement!

Abro - Dick Lloyd, one of the nicest people I have ever know, is not in the picture you posted. Bob Lloyd, Bill Foster and Jim Valvano are the subjects in that pic. Dick is so much better looking than that bunch. Lol

Both me and my dad (RC32) have had the pleasure of spending time with Dick at RU athletic/alumni events and homecoming . As others have said, one of the nicest and most genuine persons I have ever met. Has an incredible love for RU.
