Does Greg finally have a Big 10 staff

Actually Dion ran off 62 scholarship players
Some of our fans can be quick to fete the early accomplishments of other coaches, or in the case of Prime, before anything is actually accomplished. Often, this is a thinly veiled criticism of our own coach. Mel Tucker year 1 comes to mind. If Prime wins only 3 games this year, we will see posts proclaiming him the second coming of Bear Bryant.

Rarely does a first year success pan out to longer term success. Maybe with Prime it will, or maybe it won't. It seems at least he has the University, local media and boosters backing him up. At Rutgers, the last two are always missing, and these are important components in building a winning program. Thia is not an excuse to give Greg or any other coach cover, but an observation.

I have given examples in the past of coaches that accomplished a major rebuild over a longer period of 3-5 years. Jonathan Smith at Oregon State is a good example. After listening to the one hour interview with Greg that I posted earlier this evening, I am still confident to restore the program to having a solid foundation and not being a doormat. Whether he can turn RU into a big winner is another question. If he cannot do the latter, the foundation will be there for achieving success, unless we hire another Ash.

And replaced them, no?
you can't explain to people how things work when they only see the downtrodden. Those 62 probably didn't help much given Colorado's record. Greg should have cleaned house with the portal but that would be admitting he sucks publicly

And replaced them, no?

No - maybe not all. They appear to have ~52 players on the current depth chart. Shouldn't a college roster have ~70-80 players?

Greg should do this too. Deon doing what needs to be done to win, Greg doesn't understand that

great job Deon!!!!!!

In your GSDS are you now giving out participation medals for another coach for basically just tearing everything down/sweeping the floor? Is it even possible to wait until actual results before handing out trophies?

no dipshit, he's getting rid of kids that don't contribute and using the portal to fill with kids who he thinks can add value. That's a lesson Greg should employ if he wants to be successful. The portal had kids available at every position how are, in all probability, better and more impactful than what we have. Greg should have done the same thing. His job is to be successful here, he's not

No shit fvckhead. In your obsession with GS you're congratulating Deion for just cleaning house and not based on the outcomes of cleaning house. Perhaps see how it works out first. Do you congratulate someone for just selling low and purchasing a new stock or wait to see the outcome? It's like congratulating a kid for being able to use an eraser.

Problem is your GS Derangement syndrome is leading the way. Greg's success or failure has nothing to do with Deion's success or failure. Show the posts you made when Greg first came back to get rid of the entire roster. Show me another successful coach who with a new team had jettisoned 62 players not to mention before even working with most of them. If Deion has a bad or mediocre record in years 1, 2 or 3 at Colorado, you think he will jettison 62 players again from his roster?

Yes Dion Sanders is the poster boy for successful P5 programs, let see what ‘a his p5 record again how many games has he won?
He has even coache a Di game yet and he is the shining example we should be emulating?
Check back in Jan and let’s revisit where Colorado is then.

Better yet, check back at end of year 3. See Mel Tucker. Some of our fans fall in love too fast with the flavor of the day only to see the flavor did not last.

Sanders and the people’s republic of boulder…this has delightful potential written all over it and by potential I mean crash and ashy burn potential. ☺️
