Early AM BOOM!

Hope it’s someone who projects to be an impact guy because a boom 12 hours after a pretty disappointing loss isn’t a great look if the guy isn’t anything special.

Sounds like Cade Ziola was in attendance. Junior from Nebraska. Lost 5-2 to #1 Angelo Ferrari at Iron Man, and has a Nebraska state title and a runner up in his 2 years so far. Currently a 190 pounder

Would be a great get to pull out of Nebraska.
Yes he was in attendance and pretty sure Leo Deluca from Blair was there.
DeLuca was there. He's taken OVs to ASU, UM, tOSU, Iowa, ISU. Gonna be a very tough pull without some serious $ but would be great to get. I'm guessing this boom is Ziola.

Kollin Rath, Cade Ziola, Leo Deluca and William Henckel were at Steakhouse with Coaches Thursday night. Must of been on their official visits.
If the boom is any of them, it's probably Ziola. He gave Ferrari a decent match but is very tall and gives up his legs too easily. The rest of the guys were probably there for the steak. Rath is probably a pipe dream, and the other two will be more near-misses. Wish it wasn't so.

I think I've viewed every one of Jordan Chapman's matches that he wrestled over the last 3 years that were available on Flowrestling. He has gotten much better every season. In just about every match he was the better athlete; but, there were times that Jordan was so fast that his momentum would put him in awkward positions that his best opponents were able to capitalize on. However, what makes him the 19th ranked prospect in the Junior class is his potential to be a great wrestler. I think his best years are ahead of him. I look forward to watching him flourish under the coaching staff, especially Coach Pritzlaff.

Being a top 20 ranked prospect in your class is actually very good.. especially improving every season..actually much more hyped on Chapman now.. just looking at the 160 weight class in NJ is stacked this year… Peretin, Henrich(former recruit), Chapman.. all nationally ranked..

He placed 3 rd in NJ as sophomore with legitimate chance to finish as a 2x champ. Good chance we see him climb in national rankings as we go. He has length and athleticism and room to grow on the mat. Had close match recently with Perentin, who is elite NJ prospect committed to Cornell.

Chapman was a huge 157lber last season. Heinrich will be at 157, Perentin will be at 165 and Cerchio will be at 175. Chapman just wrestled 177 at the Waterway duals(there was a 167lb weight class). I could see Chapman at 175 this year depending on how much he is growing.

Have to see how the weights shake out for all these guys it Perentin, Cerchio, and Ludington all return in that 157-175 range. Chapman is legit but will be hard to beat any of those guys unless Ludington goes up to 190. If that’s the case 175 could be up for grabs.

Ludington will be at 190. 175 will be Cerchio and Chapman as the favorites. 165 Perentin and Burton as the favorites. A lot of good kids in that range. Poz won one state title(2nd to Foca as a Junior). If Chapman loses to one of these guys in the finals and wins as a Senior he will be ranked very high in the class of 2025.

I'd like to see Chapman in a collision course with those guys rather than in a weight class with less resistance. More to learn.

Agreed. Good comparison. Poz had an absurd senior season too, I don’t think he gave up a takedown the entire year. Completely ran through the state tournament
