Eddie is the right coach

Ruchoppin, i back EJ too but we need to be better than 10 wins. How desperate are we that all we're asking for is 10 wins? There were players on the court this year, enough to win 12 games and not get blown out as many times as we did. We weren't 20 point worse than a lot of teams this year.

I give EJ two-three more years. Has to be better than 10 win seasons though. Honestly speaking, if EJ doesn't get it done after two years, odds are it won't happen. Hes getting to be of decent age. Can't expect to see a fire in three years if he doesn't get a 10+ season next year. Fires light, and fires simmer out.

This thread was just about dead....you just bumped it after the news that Etou is transferring. You don't have any information on why he is transferring. It Could be homesick, It could be academics. It could be family issues. DO YOU KNOW THE REASON ??

You bumped it because you wanted to see more negative comments from the usual crowd. That is obvious and is totally unrelated to "wanting more than 10 wins".

I couldn't care less why he's leaving. We have a worse program then we did when Eddie took over.

He has done nothing to show he can run a college basketball program. He may be a great guy, and he was a legendary player, but how he can be called the right coach, based upon two years and $2 million dollars in salary, is preposterous.

LOL at worse program.

Two years ago we were the laughingstock of college basketball: stories on major networks (CNN, Fox and morning TV) , comments by the President, articles in major newspapers across the country, NBA players saying they would never send their kids to play at Rutgers and lampooned on SNL.

Okay.....so why did you Bump this thread ??
