St Bonnie's is close too.
Buffalo is the type of program that would tamper, gut feeling.
What if it is Duke,UNC, Kentucky, Villanova, etc.

Fans on this board only have a memory span of one season, max. Like we haven’t sucked forever because rarely does a good player stick around. For stating the truth? How many times has it happened? Rosario? Jones?Billet?
Omeruyi at Duke LoL.What if it is Duke,UNC, Kentucky, Villanova, etc.
I wish I could say the same. I’m upset at him, but I’ll get over it in a day or two. But you’re right, he’s doing what’s best for him and it’s hard to fault that. Just wish it would ever be in the best interest of a good player to stay and play at RU.I am not upset at Eugene at all. He is doing what he thinks is right for himself and possibly his professional basketball career.
Let’s see how Yeboah does.I wish I could say the same. I’m upset at him, but I’ll get over it in a day or two. But you’re right, he’s doing what’s best for him and it’s hard to fault that. Just wish it would ever be in the best interest of a good player to stay and play at RU.
Well they do need to replace that Williamson guy :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:Omeruyi at Duke LoL.
This kid is not special. He wasn't special until he got here and pikiell put his blood sweat and tears into the kid. And he rewards him with a 12 am "I'm outta here" and not spelling his name right. What an absolutely putrid kid. It’s a stepping stone. If you can show that you can rise above the putrid garbage that we put out on the field and on the court, it shows you’re something special.
The Spain trip couldn’t come at a better time.
Hopefully they are getting out of that silly Toronto game.

If anything, this 12 am post shows me that Eugene may have a severe drinking problem, cause he certainly would have to be drunk to think this was a good idea or look for him. This feeling is exactly what im feeling right now. Pathetic on his part from both a timing and respect standpoint. It is okay if he transfers just show some class. Basically spit at the school who not only took a waiver as his only P5 but shaped him into position to move onto another D1 role.

can't wait for the next great thought to come on this threadIf anything, this 12 am post shows me that Eugene may have a severe drinking problem, cause he certainly would have to be drunk to think this was a good idea or look for him.
He should probably check into a program and start trying to get his chipcan't wait for the next great thought to come on this thread
Omeruyi at Duke LoL.
Is this team fully Pike’s recruits now?
Thanks, I wasn’t sure if he was an Eddie recruit. Thought he was based on his profile at that time.Omoruyi was one of Pike's first recruits. Thiam and Doorson were the last Jordan recruits (Thiam committed to Eddie, re-affirmed once Pikiell got the job)
These players will be even hungrier now. Im telling you this ultimately will have us better positioned
When he was gettin his the ball often got stuck with him in the post and no one else was getting involved in the offenseHere's one for you.
Omoruyi in Big Ten losses: 15.2 PPG
Omoruyi in Big Ten wins: 8.6 PPG
His contributions obviously go much deeper than PPG but that's kind of surprising, yeah?
and the strange happenings regarding ru athletics continues to amazeTypical Rutgers situation

A few things of note...
A) Eugene's played hard and gave his all, in the best way he could but has dislocated his knee 2 consecutive years.
Everyone who has had this type of injury, should in theory, have surgery to truly correct it....with that comes a 6 to 9 month process and rehab.
B) With the increase of talent and skill levels of the entire roster, minutes were going to be an issue. And Eugene is truly a player that has transformed his entire offensive game. But at heart, he is primarily a low post, up and under, wily veteran type of player.
I agree with Hawk's analysis
Oh please..this quitter doesn't deserve one ounce of gratitude. Let the door slam him on the way out. Little prick couldn't even spell pikiells name right, let the program announce his transfer, or transfer when we could acquire an adequate replacement. He was treated like a king here even when he couldn't play and even given minutes when he wasn't at 100% that probably hurt our team. He cares about himself and he can go rot on someone's bench when his knee blows out.Grateful thanks to Eugene for his contribution here on the Banks. He came to a program that was coming off a 7-25 season with a new coach, a lot of questions and for three years he left it all out on the court. He gave Rutgers every last measure of his devotion and the program is in a better place than when he got here. Good luck to Eugene whatever his future brings him.
The program will continue to improve. The name on the front of the jersey is the only one that matters, so it's next man up and upstream Red team!

Yeah of course. That goes without staying. Doesn’t change that it’s disheartening and concerning.
If he does not want to be here, I say good bye and take a rubber hose with you. This kid is not special. He wasn't special until he got here and pikiell put his blood sweat and tears into the kid. Hawk wins the troll post of the day award, maybe the year.
Congrats Hawk!
