But are they dockers? That's a lot of khakis.
Because we all know that winning coaches wear dockers

I really love Coach Ash, but this picture is beyond corny. High school kids will laugh at this, like I did. I t would have been fine without the squatting center in the picture. A bit much...
Some have pleats, some don't.They couldn't Photoshop out the pleats???
People who buy power ball tickets are special.
Except Blazek was an All B1G Ten center for Iowa and every recruit knows this. Guy is legit. All I'm saying is Coach Blazek looks like an accountant lining up for the first snap of a flag football game. One can have a different opinion.
Spank..you need to calm down. You shouldn't be a mod and your post has proven this. You're a moron - that post was strictly part of the back and forth between mildone and I. Get a friggin' life!
maybe for us old farts...kids love that stuff...and so do I.I really love Coach Ash, but this picture is beyond corny. High school kids will laugh at this, like I did. I t would have been fine without the squatting center in the picture. A bit much...
Dumb post. You know we have 1 hour photo now that costs about the same.I'm not sure you got my point and I'm don't agree. They will have to buy a new roll of film when the RB coach is hired, take a new picture and wait for development at CVS......it's just a waste of money.
I know this has been asked and not answered but what happened to you? We could lose by 45 and you'd defend Flood. Now you are down on slogans and graphics? Did Flood donate bone marrow to your kid or something?"Fence the Garden" just ain't workin' for me.

I think there is some "corniness" to it but I think you could say that about a lot of things as it relates to social media in college and recruiting. You see coaches coaches dancing in the lockerroom constantly and releasing the vids. Those things are corny and funny too and it's definitely for recruiting. Herman has his slogan H-Town Takeover IIRC, is there not a degree of corniness to that too? Ash and company seem to have come up with Fence the Garden. Not particularly a favorite for me but whatever, it's all the same IMO.The pic is corny as hell.... theres really is no other way around it lol. But hey maybe they're onto something who knows. I mean how many times do you see an ad and think "wow thats corny".. When in reality theres some marketing/advertising pro behind it who's using a subliminal technique that'll get the product to stick in your head. I'm sure aspects of E-recruiting work the same way sometimes. They are the experts after all.

This kind of stuff is all "normal" now when it comes to college recruiting and connecting with kids in today's world through social media and the like. I've said I think this staff is probably the most social media savvy as we've ever had but that doesn't mean we're ahead of the curve now in that respect, but just that now we've come more into line with what many schools/coaches are already doing.
