The moment you've all been waiting for is coming on Friday. I mean, besides the first RU game.

Yes, Games of Interest returns, as promised in April at the end of RU Opponents in the Postseason.

As usual, it will cover the B1G, other RU opponents and other ranked teams, not to mention any other games that I think are interesting (whether or not they are) and the all-important palindromic scores. My question, though, is whether there are any particular teams people here would like to see covered. I can't promise to get them all every time they play, but I'm happy to try.

So, any suggestions?

I can't think of any special teams that need to be followed, but would throw out some story lines of interest as you scan your scores -

How will the post Andy Landers Georgia squad perform? How about the post-Carlene UCSB?

Are any of the "mid-majors" for real? Dayton had a nice run last year, but lost the core of the team so far as I know. And is USF as good as some pundits think?

And, as mentioned in another thread, how long will UNC be ranked?

Just some of the many stories I'll be following, as I keep a spreadsheet of all power 5 teams' wins and losses (but not scores).

Some double-counting here, but these teams are of interest because of certain members of their coaching staffs:
St. John's - Tasha Pointer - assistant coach
Georgia - Chelsea Newton - assistant coach
Nebraska - Katie Adams - administrative assistant/video coordinator
Illinois Institute of Technology - Usha Gilmore - Facility Director & Senior Women's Administrator/Head Women's Basketball Coach (yes, that's her actual title)
Wagner College - Vicky Picott - Assistant Coach

University of Dayton even if not ranked.

Business cards must cost a fortune!

I missed (at least) one of our former players:

Lipscomb University - Courtney Locke, Associate Head Coach

Adding another former player (and yes, double-counting OSU):

Ohio State - Myia McCurdy - video coordinator

It's great to see so many of our former Knights either coaching or at the cusp of a coaching career!

(p.s. I might pull this info into a "where are they now" thread... it's been awhile since I've done that.)
