The first half was no fluke. You guys have a better goal line defense than Ohio State. And your tall receiver is a nightmare to cover.

Your young QB needs some time to mature. He has a big arm and can run. With luck he could develop into another Taulia Tagovailoa.

And after the game was over, it was heartening to see players from both teams being friendly on the field. Sometimes the players are more mature than the fans!

Good luck the rest of the year!

Appreciate it, Ivan. -Michigan is one tough team, and anybody who goes up against you guys will definitely find that out.

As for RU, we're certainly not where we want to be yet, but progress is being made. No, certainly not as fast as many would like to be sure, and I can understand that. -But a rebuild on this scale simply doesn't happen with the rapidity of flicking on a light switch.

And I agree. Good to see the players of both teams interacting like they did after the game. -Once the final whistle blows, that's how it should be.

Good luck the rest of the season.

In the olden days, coaches would get 5-7 full years to turn around a program. It will be interesting to see if Rutgers shows that much patience. After several years of Big Ten media money coming in, you should at least have a balanced budget which will afford you options.

I guess time will tell, Ivan. -And yes, B1G money is going to be a vital part of the process to get things back on track.

No matter what happens though, (and I'm sure there'll be some other rough games in the future for RU before things get turned around), there's still no other conference I'd rather have Rutgers in. -Just my opinion, of course, but athletically, and just as importantly...academically, the B1G is simply elite.
