Wish I was there, but Thanksgiving weekend traveling is a no go for me.
Great match this morning; and we wrestled 4 back-ups, with Dippery, Theobold, Lewis and Bakuckas out of the line-up...... granted our back-ups are outstanding wrestlers. Coaches have brought in tremendous depth. We could have 2 lineups, with each having at least 6-7 wrestlers that could qualify for the NCAA championships. Scott's win is huge, beating a two time NCAA qualifier who won two matches at the NCAA championship last March.
Its nice to have Some depth,(no depth @25,97 & 285?) but there isn't 7 guys on the "A" team that will qualify for Nats.
Scott and JVB have so much potential here. I like both of these guys a lot and I expect both to end up in NCAAs sooner rather than later.

McCabe - returning qualifier
Dippery/ DelVecchio - think either has a very good shot at qualifying
Ash - no brainer
Theo - very good chance
Lewis - very good chance
Back - think he has a better than 50/50 chance. Biggest obstacle for him is mental IMO.

125 wont qualify...tough part of the schedule is coming. He's losing to back ups and frosh now.
McCabe only has to place high enough at the Big10 tourny based on the allotments for 125. Still, your not wrong, that's a long shot based on the way he is wrestling now. He will need to turn it on at the end of the year. He is good enough, but hasn't shown it this year. Even without McCabe that's still 6 likely qualifiers, that's not bad. They could place higher at NCAA's this year despite less qualifiers. This team is definitely deep in some areas and rebuilding in others.
Hey, did anyone else have trouble with FloWrestling video feed? My feed had jerky movements, in & out sound and over a minute delay for "live" video. Terrible job overall!! Charged a premium price for crappy product. Tech support was ridiculous...told me to watch archive in a few days. Wth?

No it was not on BTN Plus. I followed by RU Wrestling Twitter updates. Was originally going to take the train into Penn St/MSG, but something came up. Now if the Midlands Tourny is on Flo then I have a hard decision to make, lol. Hoping its on BTN plus.
McCabe was something like 14-14 when he was given an at large bid last season. Think it's a bit premature to write him off this early. I'm hopeful he'll perform better.

The none ranked losses are back breaking and put the team in a real hole with our top of the lineup still improving.

tip for anyone thinking off subscribing to BTN plus, the Big Ten conference wrestling tournament is Sunday, March 5th, so if you are only interested in wrestling, sign up for month to month around December 5th and you can keep it to 3 months. Maryland is on the 11th so you won't miss any other matches.
BTN plus and Flo are the 2 best values for wrestling content imo, though both have pluses and minuses so mileage may vary.
