"This is going to be a tough one to take lessons from," said Blue Devils coach Donyell Marshall, who was a player at UConn when Pikiell was a Huskies assistant. "(Rutgers) has learned that they are tired of losing. They are tired of people talking about Rutgers basketball in a negative way and they are doing something about it. Until we learn to do something about it, we are going to continue to be that way."

I read those quotes in his post game notes. Speaks volumes about how this team has bought in to coach P's vision for the program and the the way he wants them to play. Ccsu is not a very good team but that is not RU's fault. RU did to them what they should have done to Morgan St., Hartford, etc. We put it together last night. Good sign. Schedule gets a Lille tougher over the next three then we get into it for real. This is going to be fun.

I'm liking what I'm hearing and a lot of what I'm seeing. Seton Hall forward is going to be a real test of resolve.

True, but that is what we signed up for when we entered the BIG and we were all excited about it so BRING IT ON,

Saw that quote also and absolutely loved it.

Yes, it is about talent, but it is also about grinding it out, giving effort on both ends of the floor, and having a coherent game plan and solid leadership.

I love it when Rutgers teams play with the attitude "you may beat us, but you'll leave knowing you've been in a streetfight"

Agree, but I would prefer they leave knowing they were just beaten in a streetlight.
