Herb Sendek ... why is he not on anyone's list???

Haha, thanks, but I wouldn't say I'm back. Right now is a period of interest with the coaching search and how that search goes will determine whether I stick around or little or just go back into forum cryosleep. :)
I think if Rutgers ever gets serious about hoops and starts to turn it around, you'll see a lot of people come back. I'm only here while there is real interest in what's going on. I have interest in seeing if the right kind of coach is hired to see if that means a turnaround might start happening. I have no interest in watching 7-25, so if that's where this continues to go, I'm sure posters like LCP, myself and many others will either stay hidden or re-disappear.
Russ, do you think with Rutgers it's more of him not wanting to come here or us not reaching out to him? It's the answer to that question that paints light on this search for me.
I've never been told that there was any mutual interest between Rutgers and Sendek. He seems more interested in a gig with quicker turnaround potential.
I am happy to see my old friend rufan4life back too . I got rufan4life his first job and gave him life . He's a great Rutgers fan .
I agree. If Sendek isn't at least contacted it would be HORRIBLE. RU needs a nuts and bolts guy who can coach fundamentals and teach how to play the game. Maybe RU can hire who actually makes a player better over 4 years of college instead of worse. Wouldn't that be a novelty...
I know you're not supposed to take message boards seriously but this whole coaching search is proof positive and I've got to admit I'm shocked how many people here are apparently serious about hoping that a high school coach will to take over a Big Ten program. And not only that, when last seen in NJ this coach was busy getting his team banned from the Tournament of Champions for breaking NJSIAA rules. Mindboggling.
