That's a great point. I think it forced us to learn to play D again. Now we look like the D that almost took us to the Semis in March in NYC. Defense is firing on all cylinders. Get the O going like the first few games and it's Full steam ahead!

Exactly - was too excited to articulate the point about the D. We got open shots tonight but they weren’t falling...but they will.

There is no such thing as a good loss unless you are overwhelmingly out manned and make it a good game. Losing while playing poorly is not a good loss.

Even if we won a close game playing lose D like that you could bet the the team would have come out playing jockstrap defense exactly the way they did against EMU. Pike was yelling at the D to cover the guys beyond the ark all night in the SJ game. He was really unhappy with the way they played so you knew it would be a focus in their next practice and game prep.
