Holy Crap there's College Football this Saturday!

Imagine the complaining if we gave up a home game to play in Australia. @SkilletHead2 would be happy, though.
I would be! I might even fly over to Aussie to see it!

But in case anyone might be confused, I'm a New Zealander, a kiwi, not a ratbag Aussie!

Aren't they the same? Not really. Australia is a lot like Texas and New Zealand is a lot like Vermont or Oregon. Huge difference in terrain and in the people. We enjoy going to Oz for a holiday now and then, but man are we glad we moved to New Zealand, not Australia (sorry, Aussie fans).

I knew you were a New Zealander. Did not realize there was such a great distance. One of my clients is a New Zealander, now in NJ- he played semi-professional basketball in New Zealand.

Already have Friday night at 10:00 circled on my calendar! And yeah I'll also watch the Saturday night game. The first college football games since January, I wouldn't care if it was two division III games

We Aussie's like to think of our Kiwi brethren like a kid brother. Sometimes amusing, sometimes annoying but in the end they are family.

Who'd he play for? That great guard who played for RU played for our national team for a while. Blocking on his name right now, but super defender and super great team guy. Talked a lot about being a coach some day. The team loved him down here. Also, Justin Bailey from HPHS played for the Dunedin team. I coached Justin in little league.

Couldn't agree more! BTW, how are those Wallabies doing? Haven't seen us play them in geez, I dunno, five days?

No question that Gallipoli forged an unbreakable tie between Godzone and Oz! My sister-in-law is an Aussie. Female version of Crocodile Dundee.

I kind of liked sitting down and watching two 1AA powerhouses starting the season. However, I can live with the added Friday game.

If you message me, I'll give more details. I also need to ask him a bit more about when he played. I heard through a colleague he was a semi-pro basketball player.
