Well it's neither of those two so there's nothing really to talk about.
Loyalty wasn't a issue with Suriano it was how the injury was handled. Howard has been injured and can't win the spot.
Howard has officially retired from competition due to his injuries. I don't think there was ever a loyalty issue with him.
Yeah...Cael was forcing him into unnecessary surgery.Doesnt sound like a loyal guy to me.
Those decisions are ultimately made by the athlete and parents after discussing the options with the doctor. Coaches will sometimes make suggestions but no one can force a athlete to have surgery.
If an athlete is willing to leave a place like Penn State, on a full scholarship just over a "suggestion" that would seem very unrealistic.All sides said Cael was harsh and dismissive of the situation.Suriano would not just up and leave.

People like you and iron bird over on the Iowa forum are the reason we rarely have new people join and contribute to the discussions , you are an old man ranting and yelling like a 10 yr old on Xbox live, as I’ve pointed out many times on here I’m born and raised in NJ , I root for NJ wrestlers individually over any team, and outside of PSU I root for Rutgers , I go to atleast one match a year , regularly root for Rutgers , I’ve known Goodale since I was teenager and have known some kids on the squad since they were in middle school, coached quite a few too and Ive been posting here for years and I’ve never trashed any athlete or coach.

I'm not sure of the quality of a Rutgers' education, but reading the posts by Crackers makes me wonder if he ever attended class or received a degree. Maybe he had a "repore" with the Dean of Students or found a "more warmer" environment while training.
After watching the RU vs VA Tech dual, I can't imagine why anyone of quality would consider going to Rutgers to compete. Outside of Shawver and one scramble by the HWT, that was an awful performance. They are just simply not very good and not getting any better. Someone there should call up the modern day Sopranos to get mega NIL money for kids because I truly believe a wrestler with a brain would be better off attending about 25 other D1 programs in order to have a better chance at success. With some of the tough kids who come from New Jersey, it's mystifying how that program struggles to even get into the top 10 in the BIG 10.

How did I not meet you when I was chasing caddis up the Arkansas for mother's day from 92 to 2005 and Salmon flies on the colorado after that? Have only been out once since Helene in WNC. A few of my favorite places are looking bad.
