"Hurley would bring familiar problems to RU"

Was Hurley on Bannons staff during the naked freethrow situation?
He was. But for what it's worth, the players involved, who transferred and sued, did not name Hurley in the suit. They sued Bannon, asst. coach Kowalczyk, Mulcahey, Gruninger, Lawrence, the BOG, the BOT, pretty much everyone but Hurley.

I wish we could find a great coach from a mid-major - older and a bit overlooked- like Miami found in their guy from George Mason - what an unbelievable job he's done there - while they've had some success before, it's a football town, with a smallish (but great size for the UM basketball fan base) gym (but they have nice practice facility) and he's kicked butt over several years and is the nicest guy around to run into in town.

If the reports are correct and Hobbs is already talking to him or his people I think the search firm already completed the vetting process.

But I bet Enterprise Risk Management has yet to chime in. They vet the vetters and are there to minimize Rutgers financial and reputational exposure.
