Collapse? Not really…too much money out there, but many fans will quit following their schools. When some 5* recruit can make more that the university president, or researchers making real and worthwhile contributions (not catching, in the end, pointless touchdowns) you can easily see it going down hill…RU attendance at football games already sucks…imagine it if we become portal fodder?

Some of it may be histrionics, but the idea of many long time fans saying “**** it” is not that crazy.
