Was on the fence last year on whether I wanted to hop into basketball tickets for the first time...decided to make the plunge and can say I had 10x more fun at basketball games this year than the past 5 years of football games. Definitely renewing.

I have an hour drive to/from the RAC so it’s not easy especially in the dead of winter but was able to make most games. Also if you can’t make a game you can always look to sell them on the ticket board and recoup your $.

Way more demand for basketball tickets and this team is only scratching the surface.

I hear ya.
But picking 7 Saturday's over the fall is easy compared to 16 or so games all over the place. Plus now on my own.
If they can put a lounge in at the RAC where a single guy can hang out with other fans vs. Just making that trip alone it would add value.
Definitely under consideration.

They have partial plans right?

I went to PSU ..was my first BB in years..and it was terrific..I'm out on FB but in on BB

Made 16 out of 17 games and was on the way to the one I missed (other obligation), but turned around as we were down 20+

Of course I will have season tickets.

Who had perfect attendance?

Definitely thinking about it for next year. If not season, then a package. My 11 year old and I had a blast at our first game against Minnesota (thanks to Piscataway Mike for the tix). My son actually said, "Why can't it be like this with football?"

I'm sure there were many season ticket holders that attended every home game.

If football were as much fun as basketball recently, my football tailgate group would be renewing FB tickets instead of cancelling them.

Basketball last year was a blast. Basketball this year was a bigger blast. I can't wait for next year. (It's nice to be able to say that I can't wait for next year and mean that I'm disappointed there are no more home games this season, and I can't wait until our next home game. For too long, "I can't wait for next year", meant that this past year sucked and hopefully next year won't suck.)

34 years old, have had tickets for 34 years. Will be increasing from 3 to 4 tickets next year. Do a road football game almost every year for the last decade, but going to hold off and wait until the B1G basketball schedule is released next year.

There was a time before the 2005-2006 season before my oldest son was born that I could count on my hands the number of games I missed at the RAC since it Opened in 1977

However...youth coaching and sports has taking a chunk of that possibility away now

That’s a pretty good idea.

Maybe not as exclusive or expensive as the Audi Club but something would be nice.

exactly. several years ago they had receptions upstairs behind 118 where the offices were. If they are moved over to the Barnabas Center I could see that turned into something like the Rutgers "Basketball" Club.... Court Club could have meetings there too.

That’s the spot I was thinking too.

Nothing major or too fancy, just a nice lounge like an airport club.

Def needed. The Rutgers club on Livingston nhas been great before games this year. Good spot to hang out and talk RU sports. Decent food and not a bad craft beer selection.

People have said there was some confusion on access pre-game a few times this season.

Hopefully next season it can be another steady option beforehand and maybe post game too.

A good ticket plan to maybe help get people who live 1hr+ from the RAC to committ to season tickets, is offer up a weekend mini plan and a weeknight mini plan. Make the weekend one more expensive, and the weeknight one cheaper. I.e. at $100 bucks for a package to the OOC weeknight games I’d go to almost all of them. At the same time, if a full package is 1000, then make the weekend one 600 or something and you get all the weekend conference games. (I’m too lazy to look up actual prices, these are just relative to each other numbers). That way you offest the cheaper tickets with the higher priced weekend package, and you also increase attendance because people would definitely buy at least the weekend package if they don’t wanna go all-in

I bought the mini plan this year. Thinking about it I could buy 2 of them for the weekend games. 3 plus 3.

This is Rutgers and if they could only engage a few average fans as to what they need to do it would go miles.
This is exactly why I didn't even think of that club.

Just let me come into the R A C early, eat some decent food, mingle, and have a few drinks or beer. Its not a hard concept for most.

Not to mention the parking. Do I have to register to park over there? Pay what IF available, then move to other lot and pay? Or walk back and forth from RAC parking to club back to RAC.

Do they even think about this stuff? Or advertise solutions? Plans?

Man just let me volunteer to help advise and feedback on normal $hit.

One more thought. They loved the kids zone at football games. Put one of those inside down behind student section in the corner. Sell some popcorn and snacks and beverages there too. Jr. Knight .Club. Zone.,

I'm missing something in what you guys are looking for? How is this different from the current Hospitality Area? I buy a season pass; I get food and drink pregame and halftime included in the price of the pass; I get to mingle; I can buy a drink or a beer.

The old group wasn’t so keen on suggestions.

Was it every game? Thought it was a here and there type thing?

0-5 in conference games I attended.

4-1 in conference games I didn't attend.

Details coming soon on how you can donate to me to have me NOT buy season tickets next year.

Opposite for me. Was 4-1 in conference games I attended and we were 0-5 in games I didn't attend. I'll take the donations, thanks, lol.

Have had season tickets since the early 90s, once I stopped getting student freebies and used to go to just about every game. We upgraded to section 102 last year, but went from 3 to 2 tickets and have more guys sharing, so I now only get tickets to about half the games, which is an ok tradeoff, as I love the better seats, although would love to have more games (we're trying). Can't wait for next year.

Bought 3 seats in 203 this year! Great choice. Don’t see ever getting rid of them. But also not turning in my Football seats either. Go RU!
