Football INSTANT RECAP: Wisconsin rolls past Rutgers Football 42-7

Still winnable? Yes. But only if we stop shooting ourselves in our feet. At least the D has made some adjustments.

Hard disagree. When a team is visibly getting it's rear end kicked and you keep coming around saying they're going to win when there's no evidence to support it, that's trolling to me.
We’ve played like crap, nothing going right at all. And we’re only down 2 scores. We’re kicking our own ass and if we stop doing that, we’ll be right back in it with a good chance to win.

We REALLY miss Powell and Toure. Most of those long edge runs are not happening if they are playing. They would struggle to move the ball.

We are missing our 3 best defensive players. But we can play better and started to do so towards the end of the half.

O is a concern, and I hope we come out and do some different stuff with run blocking so we can get KM and/or SB going.

Once Rutgers is down two scores, it becomes extremely difficult to win with this offense. We really need an upgrade at QB to keep opposing defenses honest.

AK is not accurate and weak arm. He throws a catchable ball but teams are now sitting on the short stuff.
He’s got 5 or 6 drops and 4 or 5 throwaways. If the WR was open on the throwaways and the catchable passes were all caught, he’d be 17 of 20. Pretty accurate. And his passes show good arm strength.

I really don’t know what game you QB bashers are watching. If you want to make a valid critique on AK, it was that one super bad decision that should’ve been picked off early in the game.

It’s not the QB it’s the play call and play design. Can’t play with no aggressiveness or urgency and expect to win.
Play calling has been holding us back more than personnel.

I'll obviously give you the drops. But there is no way you can count throwaway as "should be completions" when he looks at one guy and after 1 second throws it over his head instead of going through progressions. At least be fair and balanced.

Thank you, Mildone. But I understand the sentiment, and will stop commenting...
You’re a good semi frequent poster who is a Maryland fan just trying to be positive. I think you’ve always thought of RU and Maryland as brethren since we joined the B10 together. No issues for me.

It's hard to be a passing team without the proper infrastructure, receivers and online that can pass block and a offensive scheme created to make it easier on the QB...

RU is lucky to only be down 2 TDs.
Maybe coaches make some changes
Too many passes into close quarters have receivers hearing footsteps
Lets just rip a long one for a change

Very different one than you. The one early in the game should have been a huge gain. WR was wide open and he didn’t see him until late. Then he throws a floating pass that should have been picked because he has a weak arm. He can’t throw on the run.
