Is this worse than New Hampshire?

I don't know. I remember leaving the NH game to the sound of the fireworks going off not feeling all that down. Maybe that was because we beat Michigan State the week before and I sort of mentally factored in a letdown. You can make an argument for both. I get NH was 1-AA but weren't they considered a good one ? I remember being really pissed after losing big @Navy in 2004 with a chance to go bowling.
 
Wasn't there for NH, but no shame in losing to Chip Kelly, esp. before defensive countermeasures were developed to stop the hurry-up, spread option game.

Less forgivable were Kent State, Cincinnatti opener, and all WV games...

In retrospect UNH was a national harbinger...Michigan lost to Appy State and beat Tebow in a bowl game.

This loss is far worse, UNH was more comparable talent wise than EMU and RU today.
