Jamichael Davis AAU

I just want to see on scarletknights.com that he signed his LOI! The Ndogo, Spencer and other stuff in the NIL world just makes it nerve wracking on what can suddenly pop up despite what "those in the know" say.

According to this the deadline was May 17. Rutgers always does a social media drop when they sign and don't remember seeing anything either so no idea .

I don't think the deadline really applies. Louisville just had a 2023 guy commit yesterday.

Yes, it's extremely fishy that on May 23 there's no pen to paper.
I agree. I am not one to panic over stuff like this but a quick look at the rest of the BIG (excluding PSU which is a mess) shows that there are only 2 HS commits in the whole conference that have not signed at this point. The other is Mgbako who recently committed.

Rumor is he signed it and just waiting to announce.

Is there a reason why?
Originally it was "announce all together and Ndongo" which obviously went out the door.
Then it became "issues gathering family together".
Guess that fell through too?

Not saying or speculating there is a issue. Just seems weird.

Once he signs he can't play AAU
Follow that trail all the way back to the asst coach we just hired
I don't know what anyone gains by a committed player playing down - I don't think the team is even good

Since when do seniors headed to play D-1 basketball about to graduate high school play AAU? He should be a few weeks away from reporting to the Livingston campus for summer workouts.

With Dellquan and Spencer out the picture. Jamichael should a nice amount of playing time, which should strengthen his development

Red Flag for Rutgers.
