If things aren't bad enough we get a worthless word again...i'm getting mighty irritated with the overall situation at RUFB and HCKF.Recruiting is a train wreck. This is a fact that exists entirely apart from any extent to which Rutgers may be a train wreck.
Talking to these kids, you find out very quickly that their definition of the word "commitment" isn't the same as the classically accepted definition. More than one recruit has articulated the notion of being "100% committed to XYZU, unless something better comes along."
Its getting intolerable....rule changes need to be put in place....kids words are as worthless as cheap toilet paper and schools are becoming like sleazy car salesman....what happened to honor. I've had it with this shit...lucky he's not my kid. Part of this IMO is on our staff too.
Thanks for that....now i'm feeling much better about the trainwreck.Bless you my son.Its goes both ways dude. What don't some of your people get? We backed off that lumber jack kid who would go to rainy winter games in his overalls and a T-shirt.
IT GOES BOTH WAYS!
If recruiting is such a train wreck why are you upset that one of the cars from the train has derailed. He can't be any good because our recruiting is terrible. Thanks for that....now i'm feeling much better about the trainwreck.Bless you my son.
Surprised by the reactions on this one. Not a huge loss. Looks to be flipping to VaTech. They were the only other P5 school to offer.
I agree that he looks great this year and he did last year. Great motor and strength.Wow, people who think this isn't a big loss are insane. Look at his performance so far this season. He's a total beast.
We're screwed.
If you have to ask that question you must be content...your already lost and don't even know if the word fan suits you. DL is the hardest position to find talent or replace....were not in a position like say even a PSU to replace ANYONE lost with someone better...were already searching nooks and crannies for our ''hidden gems''...now where...at the bottom of the Ocean....maybe you can convince someone to replace him....geesh its like our fans are content just to put anything on the field and pray.....some of our fans are like the staff...''Lost in Space''..If recruiting is such a train wreck why are you upset that one of the cars from the train has derailed. He can't be any good because our recruiting is terrible.
Wrong.. Purdue and Pitt offered according to Rivals.Surprised by the reactions on this one. Not a huge loss. Looks to be flipping to VaTech. They were the only other P5 school to offer.

. Fixed it for you.But let's all remember, Flood is a nice guy and hiring him would permanently set the program back! What a joke!!!
The way it typically works at every school is as follows: When they de-commit, they're gone.----
If it was just RU and V tech, we still would have a decent shot after his visit there...... His opening up recruitment might mean he will take all his visits, that would make us a long shot
As far as offers, he probably will get several more... . I think we have to figure multiple visits
+1. Fixed it for you.
Tell you the truth as soon as they decommit their marked dirty in my mind....unless their a ''Rashod Gary'' or near i don't want them....sorta like a girl in HS who did you're ''friend''...The way it typically works at every school is as follows: When they de-commit, they're gone.
I agree and think the B1G would endorse that...I enjoy your posts and admire you 're passion for Pitt. We need a couple hundred more like you...seems NJ doesn't inspire much of that and i've always been befuddled by that...good luck moving forward Mr Panthergrowl...Football needs an early signing period that requires a recruit to honor their commitment.
Discussions started this year, maybe having it set in December. Some Conferences are on board with this. I know the ACC is for it. Don't know if the B1G is in favor of it.
It works for Basketball, why not football.
HAIL TO PITT!!!!

I'm mixed on this one because the coaches continue recruiting all the players even after they've verballed to a school. This tells the recruits that their "commitment" needn't be considered to be firm until they sign. Whenever I look at a generation behaving a certain way, I look at the generation that preceded it and blame them for steering them the wrong way. The Trophy Generation doesn't look to get trophies if their coaches, teachers, and parents didn't decide to give them trophies for everything.Tell you the truth as soon as they decommit their marked dirty in my mind....unless their a ''Rashod Gary'' or near i don't want them....sorta like a girl in HS who did you're ''friend''...
Being an RU fan lately is like that ancient asian torture of ''Dying of 1000 cuts''....we should be doing a little cutting at the highest levels. Lets finish that process of assimilation and lets start progressing towards respectability amongst our peers on the playing fields.Who do you think will decommit next?

RU has so many natural advantages but lack the leader with vision...its happened at the ''U'' Wisky, Oregon and even smaller privates like TCU and Baylor...none have even half the advantages we have....but I've been a fan of RU since i was 12..now I'll be 64 in Nov and wonder if I'll see our rise.....''76'' was my greatest year as a fan...what ever happened to Jacque LaPrairie I wonder...Thanks
I think Rutgers has many things going for it and just when it seems that its about to take off.
"Something" happens and sends the program into a tailspin.
All you can do is hope for the best that things will improve.
HAIL TO PITT!!!!
