Will Rutgers look anything like it did a decade ago under OC John McNulty? HC Chris Ash said he's had a tremendous impact since he came back to RU in January.

Played some QB in HS too, right?Nice article. Forgot how prolific Tiquan Underwood was in 2007, and all from a 2 star recruit. The tandem of Britt and Underwood was formidable.

I don't know. I met him at the Spring game, and he was a very nice guy. He has really cool hair too.Played some QB in HS too, right?
I'd be surprised if there wasn't improvement, it's hard to think we could have such anemic offensive numbers 3 years in a row. It's a matter of how much improvement. We need his impact to be huge if we want to go Bowling. That said, any improvement will be welcome.

I was quite skeptical of the last 2 OCs when they were hired but McNulty is worthy of being an OC even though I'm not a big proponent of the long term sustainability of the system he's implementing for a school like us.
From your keyboard to God's ears. Let us hope.McNulty has the unique perspective of seeing Rutgers excel as a program and come back for round two. There is no one I’d trust more to run the offense. I think we are finally starting to see the talent at WR and QB emerge. He’s going to open up the offense and we’ll have an exciting team to watch this season.
I honestly would be interested in seeing how McNulty handles being a HC should he successfully turn the offense around yet again here.If he does a good job, I can see him replacing Ash in a few years, if Ash decides to move on voluntarily or otherwise.
