As I'm sure many of you know, John O'Korn commenced his College Athletic Career at The University of Houston.

When we played Houston in 2013 in Piscataway when we were in the AAC - O'Korn killed us - passing for 364 yards and throwing for 5 TD's and completing 24 of 30 passes.

He had a terrific freshman season and man has his career and growth as a QB plummeted big time at Michigan.

When he transferred to Michigan, I was reasonably confident that he'd be their QB.

Then Speight is down for the year and in comes O'Korn and what a disaster he has been.

Don't know what is happening up there with him but I hope his struggles continue thru next week big time.

YUP O'Koren killed us in 2013.... 49-14
Cinci beat us 52-17
UCF 41-17
we only won 2 games in the AAC that year(Temple & USF) 2013
I too hope his struggles continue,,,but I have a feeling he will be extra motivated

We are MUCH better as a team in 2017 IMO
we need to sack OKoren a few times early on....so he gets the message

You're right about O'Korn. I went to the Houston game and O'Korn was lights out. It was Rutgers Homecoming game that year and Houston totally dominated. But it was O'Korn and Houston's receivers that really impressed . I don't understand why he hasn't emerged as a better QB.

QBs usually perform better when they have time to throw. Put a big rush on Korn like Pen St did last night and Korn won't perform so great, give him lot's of time, like RU did years ago, and he will usually find the open receiver. It's not so complicated.

Hopefully he'll wait another week to emerge.

He didn't have much help against Penn State. I didn't think he played badly. Probably took a couple of sacks he shouldn't have, but also avoided several sacks with good movement out of the pocket.

I was also at that Houston game back in 2013. It was depressing. (And, cold and windy if I remember correctly.) Anyway, I thought this guy was going to go on to a great career. But, I also think a lot of his success had to do with the level of competition (we didn't have a terribly good passing defense back then.)

I think our line play is better today than it was then. However, it stinks that two of our best defensive backs are out for the season. They are getting better each game (especially Harris). However, I don't know if we're really ready for the better half of the schedule just yet.

That Rutgers defense turned a lot of opposing QBs into Tom Brady.

We have shown little to nothing of a real pass rush. Considering our pass defense, this could get pretty ugly if his passes are decent and the receivers can actually catch a pass (unlike Purdue).

I caught some of that UM-PSU game and O'korn looked like a deer in the headlights at times.. I could swear he looked like "turNOVA" on that awful play design where he turns his back on the LOS to go do a deep handoff but then turns around to throw and is shocked to see a pass rush. So happy to see the genius Harbaugh has plays like that in his playbook.

As far as pass rush goes, Nash the last 2 games has been very close at getting several sacks. He is my sleeper pick for a sack vs Michigan
