Hearing that he may do one more year before the NBA beckons, even though he is 22. Should be,along with Cam Whitmore Big 5 POY. Many Power 5's including a Big Ten heavy tried to poach him this summer but he wants his Wharton degree. Went to Blair as many know. Would start at Rutgers from day one and is obviously a tremendous shooter. His dad is Dana Dingle. Steve is certainly aware of Jordan.

I Googled him. He’s a 6-3 guard at UPenn and led them in scoring last year at 20.9 ppg, shot 33.7% from 3-Pt range and 81% at the FT line.

This year, through 12 games, he’s even better at 24.1 ppg, 34% on threes and 88% on FTs.

Guessing you’re thinking grad transfer for next season?

Would probably have to give Miller or Palmquist “the Talk” to free up space, unless of course Paul decides not to come back for his super senior year.

Gotta imagine the Blue Bloods will be all over this kid though.

Thanks for the update Richard but I’m not picking up what you’re putting down.
Sounds like you are saying he wants to return to Penn for his senior year to get his degree. But the bigger dogs out there (Michigan? State?) are already trying get him if he did leave Penn?

Not to be a defeatist but he doesn’t sound like a lead. But since you mentioned it…I trust there is something im missing.

Michigan would be the type of school to poach him, although the Wolverines got Princeton guard Llewellyn this year and he tore an ACL and will miss the season. Is Llewellyn able to get a redshirt year after essentially missing this year?? If Llewellyn returns to Michigan, they really don't make much sense at Michigan with Jett Howard and McDaniel at guard for them now.

Jay Wright loves Jordan Dingle and his game, but I don't see him going to the Main Line.

I don't see the RU need with Griffiths coming in and the guard mix in place unless you told me either Mulcahy or Spencer was not part of the roster mix next year, then RU would immediately launch to a Top 4 B1G roster next year if you added Dingle.

If Cliff stayed for his senior year and you added Dingle, amd you kept one of Mulcahy and Spencer, you'd have an Elite 8/Final Four type of roster.

Mulcahy will take a fifth year before he starts his coaching career somewhere. He‘s a gamer and a gym rat. I think he is playing at 70-80 percent of ability because of
the lingering shoulder injupry and will want to go out on a high. If RU turns
it around and make the NCAA Paul could go because he has his undergrad degree. He allegedly had AP credits. As most of you know he is in grad school but it’s difficult to get a Masters in one year.

Cliff is here for four years. He values education and a degree. He is also not ready
for the next step yet. He needs the year to grow.

Agreed on both counts.

Ahhh Dana. What a Umass team that was. Loved Lou Roe, but at the time I was a huge George Washington fan because my brother went to GW and was in the same class as Yinka and I was not in college yet so I had no loyalties to Rutgers. Umass was a thorn in GW's side for years.

The best transfers were Keith Hughes and Earl Duncan from Syracuse. They were go to scorers who led the Rutgers team to the NCAA Tournament
Been downhill since then…Rich Ashmeade from UCONN was such a disappointment.

That wasn’t Ashmeade. But I do remember the FSU shirt. Who was that?
Wasn't that Norris Bell? Transferred from UNLV, was a Hempstead, LI kid. Got caught stealing from the dorms AND from teammates, never played a min. here. His brother, Tavorris, went on to star for, I believe, Rhode Island. But I think it was an FSU football jersey he was wearing, not bball.

Well done. Couldn’t remember. Hodgson was another great transfer post Hughes. Prototypical Knight era Indiana player I’d take on the team right now.

Jerome Coleman for the all-juco team. Was Wally Judge juco inbetween us and Maryland? Deshawn Freeman, juco, had his moments.
