Julie Hermann at Practice..with Police

I missed your post above but that was my first thought about her being there. Just a tacit show of support. Regardless though, she's the AD and ADs can show up at any practice they feel like, it's not a big deal.
Media makes it sound like he's was going to be fired and escorted out by police like some loon disgruntled employee. I mean really? The season is about to start, an anonymous threat could have been sent, who knows but if some security is there is it a big deal? I mean in this day and age an abundance of caution never hurts. Just more sensationalism to make it seem as if something big is going down.

From his post above it sounds like players likely ruled ineligible will be known soon. I don't think it has anything to do with the police. Some are just running wild with speculation about police being there.

Also reported that the NJ.com crew all had little chubs when they saw Hermann at practice with police presence. They thought this was dooms day for Flood lol.
Sure seemed like they thought that. Haha. Even a national writer tweeted his speculation. Wrong, and wrong. Haha.
Relax. Flood's brother is NYPD. Maybe these cops were invited to see practice. Last I checked sending an email to a professor is not an arrestable offense.

If that really is true about him missing attending a play,heck, just walk over to the George Street Playhouse or Crossroads Theatre and watch a rehearsal. Just make sure we notify Keith Sargeant first so we can prove he went. If Keith wants to ask him for review,we'll even go along with that.

It's a college football team in 2015, when the police show up its not going to be good. Just buckle up and support the good coaches and kids that work their tails off for our enjoyment.
It would have been wrong for Herman to set the local press up to make fools of themselves on twitter with more over the top speculation while at the same time reinforcing support for Flood...

If there were NYPD there I'd say yes.
If it's a combo of RU, local, county, and state I'd say it's about stadium security at the opener.
If it's just RU I don't think it's good.

This board has become the SL. The Mods doubt do anything because it's click bait. The more traffic here the better. They don't give two shits about trolls because they haven't done anything in 2 years since PSU fans came trolling all over here
You are a known media sympathizer to anyone who actually reads these boards. You also know that in this situation the local media (one outlet in particular) is on a witch hunt and trolling for information itself to perpetuate a relatively small story. You must also realize the sensitivities expressed on this board to the entire situation - as the RU Faithful here are generally fond of over dramatizing everything,
Given all of that - you engaged in starting this thread - which is really only newsworthy based on the media reaction and is not adding anything to this board except to incite the drama crowd further.
