Football Kobe Marfo has entered transfer portal

Some starting school in January might also count against last years number. This gets you over the 25 number if you had less than 25 last year.

I think last year we had 21 signees, and then tack on transfers - singleton and the QB that played a few games? Might be missing another one, so maybe 26 total?

Most surprising transfer to me yet! - Why? - I don't know how Marfo has any eligibility left unless he petitioned the NCAA and got a 6th year.

He played his freshman year at a JC, redshirted at RU in 2016, and then was on the roster for 2017,18, and 19. He was also honored on senior day this past year (2019).

Anyway, good luck to Kobe in his 6th season.

you are thinking of TE Kyle Penniston. Did not play this past season.
Not sure if he is coming back(?). Would be a good a good contributor to the Offense.
