Mag????

Minutes distribution so far:

Fernandes- 27.0
Hyatt - 26.6
Cliff - 25.8
Simpson - 24.6
Griffiths - 22.6
JMike - 22.2
Woolf - 19.4
A.Williams - 19.3 (in 3 games)
Oskar - 15.0
Chol - 6.3 (in 3 games)

Once Mag returns and gets acclimated, assuming he shows little or no ill effects from the injury, he will likely take all of Chol’s minutes and most of Oskar’s minutes. That’s about 20 mpg. I could also see Woolf’s minutes dipping a bit, as he would be mostly Cliff’s backup at the 5, but could still see some time at the 4 against some teams.

All of the “4” minutes will be consumed by Mag, Hyatt, and a little Woolf.

Emily Mason of RU soccer certainly did & much earlier than expected & with no loss of ability.

Gotta think the playing surface factors into it. Different injury and sport, played through torn meniscus a couple of times (a decision I feel now everyday…) in soccer playing on grass…but don’t think I could have been able to do the same with on the brutality of a court.

I’d have to think lawyers are involved in drafting these contracts. I’m sure there is contingency language in there preventing this. If doctors have cleared him, I’m sure he can’t just choose to sit out all season and collect his check.

Thought you said this was about stats. I wouldn't say she played any worse than the previous year. As I said she was moving very well.
So looking at 2023 vs 2022 - she played in more games, played more minutes except all her stats were down but she was moving just as well as before her ACL surgery. Yeah, okay.

Don't understand which stats go with which year. Last year she didn't start or play full games in the beginning. She soon shed the brace & played full games for most of the year. She was moving very well all year even with the brace. Did you see her play? I think I see the pairings now--16 games in 2022 & 20 games in 2023 correct?

Correct. And regardless of you think she was “moving”, her performance did not return to it’s previous level. Could be coincidence but I think not.

Did you see her play both years? Those stats are meaningless re: how she played after ACL surgery. You do know that she is a CB. Maybe Mike had the team dropping back some games. Maybe he gave them free reign to attack in others. All kinds of variables could be part of those stats. The point is Mason was moving just as well after her surgery as before. And I saw almost every game for those 2 years. If you don't want to accept that so be it.

And so it will be.
