Either Pen St fans are not listening to Franklin or they simply don't travel as well as programs like Bama, Ohio St, Oklahoma, Nebraska or Tennessee.

You are wrong. PSU also won't have many more than they did two years ago. They aren't Buying from RU for 80 when people here only want face and can't move themlol...you'll be lucky to see 18k RU fans there but I hope I'm wrong
Yes, Penn State is often said to be a fanbase that travels very poorly.
I don't care about PSU, I'm saying you won't find more than 20k RU fans in the stands imho. I hope I'm wrong and it's packed in Red (I'll be there) but I doubt we have a great presence. You are wrong. And I'm telling you that you are wrong. We had over 30 for a crappy USF team on a freezing cold night while hoping Flood Would get fired. They should be used to it as we were your most expensive ticket last year as well. Your flag in your avatar is spot on...PSU fans are not normal.I think the issue is PSU fans spent $80 for tickets to the Iowa game at Beaver Stadium 2 weeks ago. A little different than 2-8 Rutgers at HPSS.
Give it away. Lots of people in my thread want tickets.WelI I now have an extra as one of my 6 bailed. $50 to a Rutgers fan sec 121.
If there was going to be a State Penn takeover, they'd have scooped up the rest of the tickets from the box office Sunday and Monday. They'll have more than 2 years ago but nowhere near a majority.
Jesus. Are you going to let him bang your wife at the tailgate as well?I'm honestly surprised that with such a "vast" alumni base in NJ/NY and with PA being so close that they have not snatched up the remaining tickets.
I forwarded the SK.com ticket map link to a colleague of mine who is a Pen St alum and he bought 4 tickets this morning.
I think he said $95+ fees each for lower level end zone.

They are ok trying to explain away child rape. Nobody doubts their commitment, loyalty or resolve.Umm...Rutgers fans are in no position to deride the loyalty of the Penn State fan base.

Could prolly show up at the stadium and get tix for $30 or $40 right before game time. Maybe less.
has nothing to do with the state's interest in the b10, hell the game could get great ratings for all we know. The problem is the coaching blows, the team has a horrible record, we've underachieved, and rather than go to a game for 4hours on a Saturday night, you are going to have non die hards doing other things and watching from somewhere comfortable as they expect ANOTHER blowoutThe main issue is the game is not a sellout and yes I know the record but it says alot about the states interest in the Big 10. There will be 30k RU fans and 15k Psu fans that will take over the place. Its quite embarrassing that the big 10 did little to bump attendence judging by the actual attendence numbers this year

That's what I'm planning to do and I expect that somewhere around $20 should do the trick. The stadium isn't very big so any seat is good enough. However, I'll only be there if the weather looks good when I check on Saturday morning. You do that, and let us know.

This would have been a sell out months ago if not for dynamic pricing.
Sell outs take on a whole different meaning when you're cheapest tickets through Rutgers is over $100.
So that's all the no. 8 team in the country is worth?Waiting for Friday to buy for 10$
That is true, but, it's wise by Hobbs to do a money grab from Pen St fans.
He probably thought more would bite by now, but Pen St fans are not listening to Franklin thus far.

This is either going to be a game we win by 30 or a game that ends our hopes of a miraculous season. Either way, not interested in being there.
Interesting angle taken by the OP on this one...a troll of PSU fans on his own board. Isn't this Senior Night for Rutgers on national television? Seems like you may be calling out the wrong fanbase.

We all know what will happen. If we bring 15k we will report we brought 20 and Rutgers will say there was 8. Rutgers will announce the stadium was full and we will say it was not with over half as PSU fans. Bottom line is PSU fans aren't thrilled about paying over 100 to see this game. Funny thing similar tickets for the Maryland game are selling for about 8-10 dollars. Rutgers fans can bitch all they want about PSU but it will put some money in their coffers because they sure as hell can't do it the following week.
RU is @ Maryland the following week.
Pen St has a good sized fanbase, but it's not Ohio St , Bama or Nebraska.
