Rivera was really sluggish after the 1st period. Hope he's healthy and just had an off night. Not easy to tech everyone lol

I didn’t see that. Rivera looked solid to me. And give Kinner some credit. He is a huge 141lber and tall. He scrambles well too. Rivera has struggled with taller guys (Tariq Wilson last year). Rivera was working hard the whole time. Think there might be a familiarity thing going on here too.

Action is back underway at 165-lbs with Andrew Clark taking on Mike Wilson.

Clark scores early in the period with a takedown to take a 2-0 lead

Kinner was a pretty big recruit I believe.
He was. Pretty sure he was at Ohio State before this

If memory serves he tried going 133 and Ohio State planned on having him and Pletcher as back to back hammers. Didn’t work out

Clark maintains a 2-1 lead as the first period ends.

Wilson chooses defense, but Clark stands him up. Tied at 2-2 as the second period gets underway

No action that period, as the score is still tied at two.

Clark chooses defense for the third period

Clark escapes to take the 3-2 lead. 56 seconds left in the match, with RT not being a factor

Sorry, folks. Few more technical difficulties.

We are now in the second period of 174-lbs, where a 2019 NJ state finals rematch is underway between Connor O'Neill and Shane Reitsma

Period ends on the feet, with Reitsma still leading 1-0.

O'neill starting the third on bottom

Reitsma with a takedown. O'Neill escapes. 3-2 Reitsma with 30 left

ONeill is just not good.

I know him and Reitsma had close matches but he hasn’t shown much most of season. He’s not good on his feet, very slow to point he looks stuck in quicksand, doesn’t really ride very well, so what are the positives? I know he’s still young but it’s not like he was not highly ranked or touted. He was like 7/8 in Country.

Holding plenty of riding time, Poz cuts Vasquez to make it 7-2, looking to work on his feet.
