Transfers from Cardinal McCarrick have made Mater Dei a power, and they still have 3 kids who didn't suit up because of transfer rules. They beat a pretty good Pt. Pleasant Beach team by 18,who happens to have Mike Rice Jr. as their starting point guard. He plays a pretty good game, good defense , but his outside shot was off, so I'm told. I love watching all different HS games, and my younger son and I pick a good match up any week and check it out. So much talent and exciting teams to watch.Blows my mind that Rutgers is smack in the middle of it, and has been so piss poor for so long. How do schools in the middle of the country, the prairies the boon docks, the deserts, the mountains where schools are far and few between, manage to collect enough talent to be relevant year after year. That's all I hope for, just be a relevant program, not a power house!

Are any of the kids on those teams Big Ten players? Didn't think so.

Otherwise you're kinda beating a dead horse.
Big Ten players maybe not, but I'd settle for AAC players at this point. You got to be kidding me,year after year we get beat by players "not" good enough to play at Rutgers. Should I give you a list?

Because they have kids that can shoot and coaches with a clue. It's not hard to see when you watch them play.

For the most part Rutgers basketball teams have been composed of complementary type players who lack the shooting skill set to be successful in the Big East,AAC,and now the B1G Ten Conference.
