Tough place to play on the road - this Miami team reminds me the good Johnnies teams we used to face in the Big East that were very athletic.
We lost the rebounding battle early - thought we could have boxed better. Seems they focused their defense on Freeman, as both Izundu and Murphy blocked many shots. We need Freeman to score in order to balance the offense and win - Miami took Freeman out of the game early (though he got better later in the game). The inside game is more important for us to win than perimeter shooting.
A lot of one shot and dones early on as we were not getting offensive boards - balanced out later as the totals were 15-13 in Miami's favor. Total bounds 44-30 not good - but saw enough that we can improve this against good teams. Coach will work on this.
Notably -the Knights did not quit and played all the way to the final whistle - most encouraging.
