Miami Loss Due TO Terrible Defense!

What happened to our defense? Miami's shooting % was just under 50%. They made layup after layup; we could not stop them from easily getting to the basket. I thought Pickell is known for teaching defense. We usually hold teams way below shooting 50%. We have always been poor offensively, however, it was poor defense that lost this game!

Our bad shots let them get out in too many quick transitions.

Turnovers and missed layups. Period. Even with Cam poor shooting, we would have pulled it out. Caleb very careless with the ball directly turned into 4 points

Our guards when Simpson is not in the game are slow and second and most important and someone stated in another post and I agreed 100% is that for some reason and I can't figure it out but Cliff is not a shot blocker at all watch guard after guard go down the lane and he rarely will block their shot last night one of the guards went straight at him and made the layup right over him. For a guy with the wingspan he has I cannot figure it out!!
