So the Midlands Brackets are slowly coming out. So far 125 we have Paetzall who is unranked but no McCabe listed...Dippery as 6 seed and Delvecchio as 13 seed at 133...Ashnault as 3 seed in 141...Theo as 7 seed and Giraldo as 14 seed. JVB is 13 seed at 157 and Scott is unranked at 165. Pagano unranked at 174 with no Bakuckas...is he hurt? Gravina is 6 seed at 184, and Messner unranked at 197 with Mulligan wrestling unattached.

Very good chance of seeing Dippery vs Del Velcchio early tomorrow

At 141 Kolodzik gets the 1 seed, which stinks a bit for Ashnault as Jack at 2 is the tougher matchup for him IMO. Pretty impressive for the freshman Kolodzik.

Ash does match up far better with Kolo than Jack.

I believe, Ash is 2-2 lifetime with Kolodzik and is 0-2 lifetime vs Jack

Also early tomorrow good chance of seeing Giraldo (149) face Bannister of Maryland who squeeked by Theobold. I'm a little surprised at Bannister's high 3 seed. Bannister did a lot of stalling vs Theo, but he has a good record.

Ashnault could meet up again with Kevin Jack and Matt Kolodzik . PS- Kolodzik beat Randy Cruz this past week, that's 2 All Americans he's beaten already this year, not bad for a freshman (late enrollee). And Cruz will be at Midlands as well, I believe AA beat Cruz last season. Heck of a tourny.

Pretty impressive for the freshman Kolodzik.

it's impressive but he's not a typical freshman as he's 20 & should be a sophomore or RSF. Isn't he only a year younger than Ashnault who is a RSJr?
