We did a no show against PSU. We have now gotten beat pretty good to Delaware, John Hopkins and Penn State. I hope we show some pride against Ohio State. Somehow I think we will miss the NCAA again. If we don't make it we have no one to blame but ourselves. We made it to #1 and than went into a free fall.

It's not a free fall. Lacrosse has a fairly short season. BIG is tough conference. Losses to JHU, MD and PSU is not a free fall. Delaware was a bad loss, c'est la vie. Beat OSU and NCAA is a virtual lock.

Don't know if you watched those games. I did & I certainly would call it a free-fall from their previous level of play.

Lost 12-6 to JHU
Win 14-7 to Mich
Lost 13-12 to MD
Lost 13-7 to PSU.

Seems pretty close to a free fall other than the MD game. 3 losses that weren't very close and a win against a team that is clearly the worst in the conference. If the 3 losses were similar to the MD game then I would agree with you.

I guess. #1 ranking was obviously too high, but so was Penn State's. Not an ideal scenario, but win and in NCAAs isn't a free fall in my mind. Second half is much tougher than first. I would agree if MD game wasn't 3OT v

Maryland game is the outlier here, yet they squandered several chances to win at the end of regulation & in the OT's. Earlier this year they would have cashed in. The other three loses are in the free fall category.
