NBATV app has picked up the upcoming Tuesday night CityOfPalmsBKB game between Don Bosco versus McEachern

Harper is a great passer. great court vision. Can pass with both hands and send pin point passes out of doubles and across the court. Gotta feel great that he will make the right play with the ball in his hands

Just search for city of palms on YouTube it's live streamed for free

That baseline jumper from Ace is pretty. He’s hit that twice today.

Dylan was the best player in the game tonight. And frankly, it wasn’t even close.
He really impressed me. Bosco just better than Ace's team, hard to really judge Bailey on tonight. He can obviously hit from anywhere though

I don’t know. I think Dylan was in the high 20’s and Ace in the mid 20’s.

Tough task for Ace tonight. Don Bosco was clearly the better team.
THIS. Clearly Bosco had the better team and Ace was probably trying to do a bit too much but I think Dylan has a more polished game while Ace has crazy raw talent. I think Ace’s ceiling is higher than Dylan’s and that’s no shade on Dylan, he’s the better player right now.

Griffiths should get plenty of open 3 point shots with Harper at the point guard position.Bailey will be difficult to guard because of his height and ability to create and make shots off the dribble. The skillset of Harper is equally outstanding.Fans will finally see top tier talent playing for Rutgers which will make the RAC the place to be next year.

Watching Dylan Harper play basketball is poetry in motion. It’s like he just sees the play then makes it happen time, after time, after time.

We’re all super excited about Ace choosing to play at Rutgers. But make no mistake, Dylan Harper will be the guy stirring the drink at RU next year. And that’s a very, very good thing for us. His feel for the game is truly amazing.

Both of these players are going to need to turn it up many notches. Going to also need to be in great shape. If this game is indicative of how they play they use practically no energy playing defense.
Have you ever watched a high school basketball game before? It’s basically a glorified scrimmage.

Not my local HS. Every possession is contested. Defense is played at a different energy level. Now a player like Paul Mulcahy can torch it but the players play hard on D because they have to.

Dylan is ready made. He looks like a ready made NBA franchise player. Ace is a great talent but his game needs work. Specifically in the half court off the dribble. Dylan will be the lead Alpha Dog at RU the minute he steps on campus.

I was most impressed with Dylan’s vision and passing ability tonight. He ALWAYS finds the open man no matter where on the court it may be. And his jumper looks improved too.

I’ve watched Ace twice now. The first time at that Rucker Park event over the summer and the second time tonight. He’s definitely less polished than Dylan, and he seems “hit or miss” with his shot, and he often misses really bad. But like people said, he has much less of a supporting cast, so he probably tries to do too much.

By the way, can we sign that white G/F on Bosco? Kid is a deadeye shooter.

I've been a long time lurker and have read many of your posts over the years. Most of your takes are absolutely horrible and this one is no different. How many times have you watched Dylan and/or Ace play live? I'm guessing Dylan MAYBE twice (tonight's game and the Camden game last year?) and Ace once. They are consensus top 3 players in their class and will both be lottery picks a year and a half from now. They will be beyond fine next season.

Just stop with the lunacy dude. It's tiring.

Exactly you’re local high school will lose by 40+ to both of these schools. Pike will have them playing hard on defense once they get on campus

this. what is this guy talking about above . maybe the glorified aau teams that play each other are like that but the local teams it’s blood and guts very possession matters. I know, i’ve been coaching high school ball for almost 20 years

I suspect that if you watched high school tape of any freshman who is performing well (Stephon Castle, for instance) you would see a similar quality of defense played.

Maybe 50. Haha.

And I missed the second half but Ace was electric in the first half.

They are here for 32 games. It will be an adjustment.

Mag coming back is almost essential if we are to have a decent season next year.

Kentucky is 8-2 so far this year playing a bunch of freshman and the already have wins over Miami and North Carolina.

That great. Calapari has done it for years. Pike is going to do a 180.

Gavin is the highest rated recruit and so far that isnt working.

We have Buddy Ryan as coach and he is now trying to win with offense
Pike leans very heavily on iso play to score. Gavin is the type of player who needs some help to get good looks. The good news is Harper and Bailey are the perfect players for Pike’s offense. They can both highly efficient one on one, can beat double teams when they want to and are both good passers who can get the ball to Gavin when opponents try to collapse on them. Everything will be fine next year.

Dylan will be fine. Ace i am not so sure. He will not have a green light taking some of those shots.

Dylan doesnt appear to be a natural point guard. If he is at RU he will have a lot on his plate.

There also is 1 basketball.

Ace will have the green light when he enters the building . . . and he has played plenty with Dylan and wants to come play with him. The biggest thing with players like this is having them buy in and play together. This will not be a problem for us next year.

Dylan is absolutely a PG. He has a great handle; he has terrific vision; he is a great passer with both hands; and his dribble drive is smooth and effective. He also shoots well from outside.

In other words, everything you want in a modern lead/point guard. He will have the ball in his hands a lot next year, and will probably lead the team in assists.
