NCAA TOURNEY FIRST ROUND DISCUSSION THREAD DAY 2

D does not matter anymore, this is not about grinding out in the old Big East..the game has substantially changed in just the last 6-7 years

That is not true....if it was RU is 7-24 this year. if michigan doesn't make every 3 they today would have lost by double digits.

tourney games are different...RU played tight with everyone, you think that would happen in the NCAA tourney if they played those same teams. Team trade blows in these games..offensive blows, yes you want to play some defense but its about shooting and 3 point shooting

confession: Way back when Beilein was rumored to be RU's top candidate after Bannon was canned I was disappointed that we couldn't do better.

Which is why I'll never be an AD.

that he stayed at Richmond rather than come coach here said alot...though I think his son was going to head to Richmond at the time..then he took him along to WVU

Great game. How great would the RAC be with that type of speed game (Michigan OSU)

I picked Arkansas in my bracket expecting SHU to win if I picked against them and lose if I picked them, because they have it in for me. :)

I suppose that means I should've picked them to win, thereby forcing them to lose or give me a correct pick.

that seemingly meaningless buzzer-beating 40-foot bomb by the Oklahoma State guard covered the spread. Unfortunately not in my favor, haha.

I disagree. Not a flagrant foul. The only reason he went down was due to the feet getting tangled.

Terrible call. How many late-game fouls when a team is losing are 'plays on the ball'. The incidental trip made the push look worse.

Seton Hall imploded...look beyond that foul...they turned it over the last two possessions, no one to blame but themselves..would not have won anyway

I know SHOE is pissed but that was a flagrant foul. He made NO EFFORT to go for the ball. he pushed the man down.

I agree on this...it was a hard push, its not like he attempted to go for the ball and he got tripped too, incidental or not, if the SHU player fouled properly it wouldnt have happened. It didnt cost them the loss, they still would have been down 3 anyhow. Webber sounds like some SHU fan good lord

If he just grabbed the guys arm it wouldn't have been call flagrant. He pushed the Hogs player, pretty hard as a matter of fact. The fall might have been incidental but it was a clear push

CBS must be happy...Arkansas-UNC is far more compelling than shoe-UNC...that's 2 BE teams out...

He did literally the only thing he couldn't in that situation...a two-handed shove. Any other form of contact and he's fine.

Really lost composure even without the foul. Bad execution and couldn't make a shot. Of course, Ark had something to do with that too. Too bad considering they had a nice lead for a while.

who is the fool on CBS crying about the foul...dont watch NBA so Ive never seen him..he seems like a tool, who is he and why is CBS showcasing him

Brings back bad memories of the blatant intentional foul that Keith Hughes committed against Arizona State in 1991. That was a killer. We blew that game too.

If we are going to have refs act like robots we might as well have robotic refs. Terrible to decide a game in that fashion. That being said Seton Hall didn't do themselves any favors, can't turn the ball over in those 2 final possessions.

I agree Patrick. He pushed him in the back with two hands. However, SHU lost because they scored one basket in the last 6+ minutes, Delgado got outplayed and the Razorbacks wore them down.

I thought it was a flagrant foul----didn't want it to be but thought it was.

You can't win a tight game with bad foul shooting and 16 TO's .
