moving forward we would have to think they go with
Patzel
Delvechio

Giraldo
Vanbrill

PAGANO. Beat kids this weekend That Bak wont
Gravina
??
??
197-Hwt. Both are young and will get beat up this year.
Theo and Bak have to sit awhile no?????
Dippery as well. Give Pagano a shot to get a big win against tough competition. We know Bak isn't punching thru.

133 is tough. We've got three very good NCAA candidates there. I wonder how the coaches let this play out, with the two that aren't red shirting.

I definitely think we should go Pagano at 174. Toss up on 133 between Dippery and Delvecchio...Dipp is more likely to get you majors or tech wins but is a risky wrestler as he got himself in trouble as we saw in the tourney. I would go matchups on 133 and 149. 197 and Heavy we are pretty much screwed this year on...just need to build enough of a cushion from 125 to 184 to win duals in B1G season.

our heavy will be weak for the foreseeable future. we got spoiled by russo and smith over the years.

Theo will continue to start over Giraldo. No way that changes.

Why? Theo is on a slump and may beat Giraldo head to head but Giraldo has beaten some good guys that Theo hasn't. Just saying.

Theo has had a couple bad matches recently but has also been a bit unlucky, and Giraldo has not been any better.

Rn Theo still has the starting edge. He had Oliver on the ropes in the third and lost focused, otherwise, he woulda been in semis. We need someone to emerge and leave no doubts at 33/49/74. Will be interesting who starts in March

I like Dippery a lot at 133.
He's a beast on top and a pinner that is just getting used to a new weight class.

As Seniors, I think that Theobold and Bakuckas deserve every opportunity there is to hold down 149 and 174 until Giraldo or Pagano prove beyond any doubt that they are either better or healthier this year.

I wish Bak was in Midlands to determine whether he or Pagano would've placed higher. Did Bakuckas make the podium last year at Midlands?

I actually like that idea better than taking time away from Bak when he returns. No disrespect to Scott but the B1G at 165 is loaded.

While I think Pagano's Midlands performance may have been the biggest positive individual surprise, I don't think you move Bak out unless he is seriously injured. Not yet anyways. I would also lean toward keeping Theo at 149. 133 is the toughest decision in my book. A case can be made for both.

Bak is great and wish him well but for 4 years we have seen what he is. Pagano beat some dudes Bak can't. He has had 4 years. Giraldos 2 wins against Bannister hold a lot of water to me. Dippery is better on top but Scotty D is more consistent

I don't bad mouth our guys and Bak comes off as a great kid and works his tail off on the mat. However, I feel like I'm watching the same match with him every time and he just has not progressed offensively and doesn't have that go to shot to win late. I tend to favor the veteran, but was very intrigued by Pagano's recent performance and feel there is more upside there and agree with the bolded part above.

Love Theo. Since the guy stepped in for Mason he has been all balls since cracking the lineup. He had a bad third period. It happens. However, I think Giraldo is better skilled and is just getting used to this weight. He is an enigma to me because he has yet to reach his true potential and has had some head scratching losses. That weight cut last year really drained him. He's the one guy that I wish we could find a way to get in the lineup because there is real AA potential there if he could just put it together.

I always liked Scotty D, but Dip has looked tough on top which is very important in this conference.
