If Dan Mullen really interviewed for Miami, I don't know how he can go back to Mississippi State if he doesn't get the job.
Hi Dan.
Why? Schiano interviewed at Michigan and Miami and continued to coach at Rutgers.

Hi Dan.
Too hell with Schiano! There are much better coaches on the market!!!
Maybe you should read this before making comments:Poor Greg can't even get the UCF gig
That could be, although UCF ultimately got a guy who was arguably a hotter candidate in Frost.Maybe you should read this before making comments:

"According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Greg Schiano passed on the chance to take the job at UCF because he felt good about his interview with Miami."
did he actually interview? Or were those schools just pursuing? Why? Schiano interviewed at Michigan and Miami and continued to coach at Rutgers.
He will go back to Rutgers or take UVA instead of UCF if he misses MiamiMaybe you should read this before making comments:

I agree. It's quite apparent that Schiano realizes you can't go back home and second acts are rarely successful.Greg is going all out to try to get any job that isn't Rutgers. We, and by we I mean Rutgers itself and this board should really move on.
I'm starting to wonder...does he deserve our admiration......maybe its phoney....give me the real phony AL G.Agree. Shit or get off the pot Greg!'
But does he have the talent or cojones or realize he is short on guts for the big show......Schiano would be a great fit this time. He knows exactly what to negotiate for to make Rutgers a contender in terms of facilities upgrades and money to hire the best staffers. He is the biggest name we'll ever get. No other big name guy is coming here.
They need something...fans are what they don't have according to attendance...all T shirt types...not very avid. There is a reason the U us broadcasting the candidates, it helps their name and recruiting
send him to Siberia....what a false icon ''Jersey Guy''...go back to sleep greg.Poor Greg can't even get the UCF gig
Much like GS would hold out for a big recruit over signing the sure thing, he's doing the same with coaching. Miami is hiring one of Butch Davis, Mullen or Richt. After that, GS will convince himself he will get one of the six NFL jobs about to open and sit out next year as well.Sounds like the U won't be announcing their hire to day.
Meh, we're not choice #1 for just about any coach and I have no idea why we should be for Schiano. Miami is a better job, easier division, easier recruiting. He should prefer that job over RU.Agree. Shit or get off the pot Greg!'
